H&M under 30 home decor pieces you need to have like yesterday simply because your personal space deserves more attention.
I know it’s real big flex that I’m back on here without great explanation or at least an excuse as to why I’ve deserted this space but I really do not have an excuse, neither do I have an explanation but I guess this is the one positive thing miss rona has done to me and for that I’m grateful.
The whole lockdown situation we are in has once again made me fall in love with not just reading blogs but also writing them obviously since all I have is time and more time; here goes nothing.
Hi, I’m Hameedah and I still love beautiful spaces, hence this post.
Having a beautiful home or space has always being a thing for me. There’s a certain comfort that comes from seeing things beautifully arranged in their appropriate spaces.
For me, it’s seeing memories scattered around because every piece I put in my home sparks something in me.
There are some sets of people who obsess about every single detail in their homes and I happen to be one of them. Which is why I’ve been spending most of my time in the home departments of my favorite brands.
In this post, I’ll be sharing my favorite decor pieces from H&M home that are not only affordable but worth every penny.
These pieces go from minimal to textured to statement pieces and even storage solutions that would give your space the lift that it deserves and I’m going to show you how.
CERAMIC VASE: Here I’ve brought together different textures and design of ceramic vases that I absolutely adore. Drawn to me by their very minimal design and variations.
GLASS VASE: I can’t be the only one drawn to clear glasses. Not only does it look beautiful, it has a very luxurious feel to it. We all need a little bit of luxury.
You might want to place this out of children’s reach if you’ve got kids.
TRAYS: Gone are the days when trays were only meant for serving meals. They’re now storage solutions, decor pieces, perfume racks and more.
STORAGE BASKET: I can’t remember exactly how and when storage baskets became household items that stayed elsewhere asides the laundry room but I absolutely love how versatile they are.
Made with the finest of materials, they’re now home to throws, cushions or just placed on the side. Anywhere else asides the laundry room.
RATTAN: If you can’t already tell by now, I’m in a love relationship with anything rattan. They’re so cultural yet modern and beautiful. Either you like them minimal or luxurious, there’s something for everyone.
Here I’ve picked out different rattan pieces that would work perfectly for different corners around your home.
WOOD: Wood is a very warm element to add to any home. If you’re not a lover of dark space or really bright spaces, you can always count on wooden accessories to give some warmth to your space. Talk about dishes and bowls or even planters. Little changes, big difference.
SCENTED CANDLES: A home without scents should actually be a hospital because what the actual heck is that??? I’m not very great with scents but I know beauty when I see it. Here are my picks.
MIRRORS: If you’re like me who likes to look at themselves a million and one times then a mirror is a necessity. However, it’s a great home accessory.
ACCESSORY HOLDER/STAND: As mentioned earlier, trays do a perfect job of housing your accessories and perfumes but nothing beats gold right? Look👇🏽👇🏽
SIDE TABLES: Yes, side tables because why not?
MARBLE: Yes I said it; we all love marble. Either as dishes, bowls, candles, planters, coffee tables or any other form they come in. They’re simple, luxurious and calming.
LANTERNS: I have just a metal candle lantern for this entry but H&M home definitely has you sorted in that aspect. Here’s the one that caught my eye:
And that’s it guys. I do hope you find something you love from my selection. It was fun putting this together and I’d definitely do more of this if you love this type of content.
Let me know in the comment section if you’d like me to do more home content.
Oooops almost forgot there’s something for the kids as well. Yes, I’m a mother.
I love pastels for kids hence the picks and also interesting shapes to keep them fascinated. Notice how everything is cloud shaped?
You know what? Maybe give H&M a shout to sponsor my next home decor project as I put together my toddlers room. Regardless it’d be fun. Look forward to that.
If you made it here, youre amazing. Don’t forget, comments are gems.
Thanks for reading.
